In 2016, Egyptian resident Andrew Medhat had been sentenced to 3 years in jail for “public debauchery.” But he barely involved with functions which were debaucherous. Instead, police discovered that Medhat was likely to hook up with another guy, and officers had the ability to find him through the homosexual hookup software Grindr and arrest him.
